You should use separate API key for Widget Platform and use specific limits for it to avoid any misuse.

First you need to create a new project to better control your API keys and usage.

  1. Open Projects page and create a new project (button on the top right corner "+ Create project").
  2. Give your project a name and click on Create.

After the project is created you will see the project ID. You will need it to create a new API key.

Set a limit​

  1. Open Settings page.
  2. Make sure that you have selected the project you created in the previous step (you can see the project name on the top left corner).
  3. On the left sidebar click on Limits inside Projects section.
  4. Set Budget Limit to 100$ (or more, depends on your needs).
  5. Set Raate limits

Create a new API key​

  1. Open Project / API keys page and click on + Create new secret key.

You need to save the key because you won't be able to see it later.
